Job Summary
The overall role of Senior Developer, Application Development, lead and implement IT Application projects to ensure that the projects are accomplished within the design scope, deadline, and resource.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, assess and evaluate the user requirements for the systems/applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages; designing and conducting tests
- Lead and manage applications development projects by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
- Collaborate with the other ICT sub-functions to designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, and information servers to ensure proper system integration
- Execute and implement multiple application development projects to support rapid growth of business
- Evaluate, access, and provide technical recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives
- Document the user manuals, guides and other material of each project to ensure supportability and reuse
- Develop and implement the internal methodology, processes and procedures, for software development adhering to ISO & SDLC standards.
- Coach and lead junior application developers by providing advice, coaching and technical advices
- Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
- Experiences:
- At least 4 years working experience in Application Development, and IT Programming
- Experience in implementing IT project planning and development
- Extensive knowledge on programming languages such as: Java, Scala, JavaScript, C#, SQL, XML and PowerShell script
- Knowledge on SQL Server and the other database
- Strong understanding and knowledge in IT Industrial framework such as ITILv4, and CoBIT5.
- In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
- Skills and knowledge:
- Understanding of Project Management, Business Need Analysis, Risk Assessment, Emerging Technology Synthesis
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a team environment
- Ability to speak, read and write in English; preferably English and Khmer.
